Vermox (Mebendazole) is an anti-worm medication (antihelmintic medication), providing healing from infections caused by worms, and blocking worms’ growing or multiplying.
Take Vermox, as it’s recommended by your health care specialist. Read this leaflet for instructions.
Take Mebendazole orally. You may chew, swallow the tablets, or crush and mix with food. The time period, needed for worms’ removal, depends on the worms’ sensitivity to this medication, and on your digestive system. It may take up to 3 days after treatment before the worm is removed.
Your family members and persons who remained who closely contacted with a patient may also require Vermox therapy. In particular, pinworm can be easily spread to others. In case if patient was not successfully cured within 3 weeks, therapy may have to be repeated.

Vermox Safety Information
In case of missing a dose of Vermox, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's almost time for your net dose, take only that one, and return to your usual schedule. Simply skip the missed dose. Never take a double dose at once.
Keep Mebendazole protected from moisture, heat and light, at the room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Short-term storage at temperatures between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is possible. Keep this product in place inaccessible for children, away from pets. Do not store in the bathroom.
Do not take Vormax without first consulting with a health care specialist.
Vermox Side Effects
Discontinue Mebendazole therapy and contact health care provider as soon as possible if you have such allergic reactions, as throat closing; hives; lips, tongue, or face swelling; breathing shortness.
Common side effects, not as serious as stated above, may occur. Do not stop taking Vermox and consult with your doctor in case of diarrhea, fever, or abdominal pain.
Children under 2 years should not be treated with this medication unless otherwise recommended by the health care provider.
If you are pregnant, or have plans for the pregnancy consult with your doctor before using this product. Vermox belongs to the FDA pregnancy category C. This means that it is not detected whether it may be harmful to the fetus.
Mebendazole should be used only in case of doctor's prescription. Do not share it with others.
