Endep is a tricyclic antidepressants, which affects those chemicals in the brain, which are responsible for imbalance development.
Strictly follow the recommendations of your health care provider. Do not exceed the dosage, and do not take this medicine for longer than your prescriber tells you to. Endep Safety Information
If you take this medicine regularly and miss a dose of Endep, take it as soon as you remember to do so. However, if it's about time to take your next dose, skip the missed one and follow your regular schedule. Thus take the next dose when it's time for it. Never take a double dose at once.
Keep Endep safe from heat, moisture, and light Store this product at room temperature. Keep this product out of the reach of children. Keep safe from pets.
Endep Side Effects
Avoid taking any other preparations, which may cause drowsiness, such as pain medication, muscle relaxers, as cold medicine, medicine for seizures, or other antidepressants. Otherwise the sleepiness may be highly increased.
You should not use alcohol while treating with Endep, as this combination may result some serious and hazardous side effects.
Ask your health care provider if you may eat grapefruit and drink grapefruit juice while going thru the Endep therapy. These products may affect your treatment.
Do not drive, operate machinery or perform any activities, requiring high level of attention, before you find out your reaction to this medicine. Endep may affect your ability to perform unsafe tasks and your reactions.
Endep can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and you may easily get sunburn. You should stay away from sunlight and artificial UV rays while treating with Endep. Use caution, apply a sunscreen (minimum SPF 15) and wear protective clothing in case you have to stay outdoors.
Seek medical attention in case you notice allergy symptoms, such as swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat; hives; difficulty breathing.
Contact health care provider immediately if you experience any of these severe side effects: sudden headache, confusion, problems with vision, speech, or balance; chest pain or heavy feeling; light-headedjness, fainting; uncontrollable shaking or tremor; easy bruising or bleeding; fast, pounding, or uneven heart rate; confusion, hallucinations, or seizures (convulsions); numbness, pain; restless muscle movements in your eyes, tongue, jaw, or neck; pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling; serious thirst with headache, vomiting, nausea, and weakness; sudden numbness or weakness, especially on one side of the body; urinating less than usual or not urinating at all; skin rash, severe tingling, muscle weakness.
However, less severe effects are more likely to occur. Among these side effects may be blurred vision, headache, ringing in your ears; mild skin rash; trouble concentrating; nausea, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, appetite loss; lack of coordination; dry mouth, unpleasant taste; sleep problems (sleep loss), nightmares; breast swelling (in men or women); reduced sex boost, impotence, or difficulties with achieving an orgasm; numbness or tingly feeling; anxiety; vertigo; sleepiness; tiredness.
Make sure to inform your health care specialist before the start of the therapy if you experience schizophrenia or other mental illness; glaucoma; problems with urination; heart disease; diabetes (Endep may change the level of blood sugar); a history of heart attack, stroke, or seizures; overactive thyroid; bipolar disorder (manic-depression).
